Anti-aging care: 5 essential ingredients

FILORGA offers high-quality anti-aging treatments

Founded in Paris in 1978, FILORGA Laboratories are pioneers in the field of aesthetic medicine. Over time, FILORGA's anti-aging skincare ranges have expanded, but have always retained the brand's DNA and perpetuated the legacy of Dr. Michel Tordjman, whose polyrevitalizing meso-injections already combated all the key factors of skin aging.

Today, each of our formulas incorporates cosmetic ingredients rigorously selected and directly inspired by the techniques used by leading cosmetic doctors.

Today we present 5 ingredients that we use in our anti-aging skincare products. These ingredients, inspired by aesthetic medicine, are the same as those used in injections or mimic the same mechanisms on the skin.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid is a benchmark molecule in the field of aesthetic medicine and anti-aging treatments. It is naturally present in the body, particularly in the skin, which contains approximately 50% of the body's total hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid has many properties: It swells with water like a sponge to fill empty spaces and protect the skin from shock. It keeps the skin hydrated and plump.

  • It plays a role in tissue repair mechanisms.
  • Used in filler injections, it helps fight the appearance of wrinkles and restore lost volume.
  • Providing hyaluronic acid to the skin daily helps maintain optimal hydration levels and prevent the appearance of signs of skin aging.

Depending on the desired benefits, FILORGA Laboratories integrate up to 5 different types of hyaluronic acid into their formulas (cross-linked, encapsulated, low, medium and high molecular weight). The SerumHYALU-FILLER is formulated with this complex of different molecular weights for a hydrating, smoothing, and plumping effect.

Hyaluronic acid is an essential ingredient in FILORGA anti-aging skincare.

    Peptides

Peptides are essential molecules found throughout the living world. They are naturally present in the human body and therefore in the skin.

Peptides are small proteins made up of only a few amino acids. Since there are an infinite number of possible combinations of amino acids, the number of peptides is immense. Depending on their structure, they will have very different roles and mechanisms of action:

    • Some peptides are able to inhibit the signal for muscle contraction and keep muscles relaxed. This is the case for peptides that mimic the action of botulinum toxin, used in cosmetic injections, and which help prevent wrinkles from forming.
    • Others play an essential role in skin regeneration. They send a message to the cells of the dermis to stimulate collagen synthesis and correct wrinkles. Finally, peptides like glutathione have antioxidant properties.

Our face creamTIME-FILLER 5XP combines two peptides with a firming and plumping effect, for effective anti-aging care on 5 types of wrinkles.

    AHA

AHA stands for Alpha-Hydroxy-Acids. AHAs are found naturally in fruits and plants such as lemon for citric acid, apple for malic acid or sugar cane for glycolic acid. These active ingredients have long been used in peels by cosmetic doctors and are recognized for their immediate effectiveness. The properties of AHAs vary depending on their concentration: At low concentrations, they are used as moisturizers. At high concentrations, they are used as exfoliants to remove dead skin cells.

By promoting cell renewal, AHAs restore radiance to the complexion, smooth the skin, and reduce pigmentation spots. Their use also allows for better penetration of other anti-aging treatments.

At FILORGA, we use a combination of different AHAs integrated into our products at the right concentration of 4.5% to guarantee efficacy and safety, while also being perfectly suited to sensitive skin.

Our night micropeeling creamSLEEP & PEEL 4.5 rich in AHAs brightens the complexion, refines, and smooths the skin from the first day of use.

    Antioxidants

The plant world is home to an incredible diversity ofantioxidants. Among the best known are vitamin C and vitamin E, polyphenols, and also certain minerals such as zinc and selenium. While all fruits, vegetables, plants, and spices contain antioxidants, certain foods like green tea and turmeric contain large amounts.

Antioxidants help tofightoxidative stress. When this stress is too great, cells deteriorate: their metabolism slows down and they renew themselves less effectively. This leads to the degradation of cellular compounds such as collagen and elastin, causing a loss of skin suppleness and premature aging.

Antioxidants constitute a true defense system for our cells, and providing them to the skin allows it to maintain its radiance, better fight oxidative stress, and prevent the signs of aging.

Our antioxidant facial serumHYDRA-AOX contains a combination of 5 powerful antioxidants to protect the skin from oxidative stress and correct the first signs of age: ergothioneine, astaxanthin, vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin B3.

Filorga anti-aging skincare products contain numerous antioxidants

    Essential Nutrients

This group of ingredients includes amino acids, vitamins and Minerals. We just mentioned some of these for their antioxidant properties, but that's not the only benefit they provide. Take vitamin C, for example. In addition to being a leading antioxidant, it boosts collagen production, which helps keep skin smooth. It also helps reduce dark spots, improving the evenness of the skin. Another example is our star complex, NCEF [New Cellular Encapsulated Factors], inspired by mesotherapy injections. To enable the skin to regenerate and provide it with all the nutrition it needs, NCEF includes:

    • Amino acids, major components of collagen and elastin, the proteins that provide firmness and elasticity to the skin.
    • Coenzymes, which trigger reactions such as those that lead tocellular repair.
    • Minerals (magnesium, sodium, etc.), essential elements for the production of new tissues, the body's water balance, and more.

NCEF is present in all our skincare products*, and the NCEF-REVERSE range offers the highest concentration of NCEF anti-aging products.

At FILORGA, we are proud of our heritage and are committed to providing high-quality anti-aging skincare products. quality, based on in-depth research and cutting-edge scientific expertise. We strive to offer you products that combine efficacy, innovation, and safety, to meet our consumers' expectations.
